Meeting called to order by President Dick Harris at 1:35.
Ky introduced speakers Michael Cody and Nick Coons from Computer Outlet-Red Service Linux.
Milt Stark submited a bill for $24.00, it was paid.
The board asked if John Schumacher would be the training coordinator and he accepted. Wide Beam is now in the Park.
Kay announced that Gene Barlow will be here next month and Smart Computing in January.

Meeting called to order at 1:35 by President Dick Harris.
Kay announced that the next 2 meeting have speakers - Dec. 5th SOS (repair firm in Mesa) and Dec.12th Gene Barlow. Milt Stark presented a bill for Web Site for 6 months $23.94. Dick Harris talked about the new Norton anti viris. John Schumacher went over the class schedules for the coming year. The computer and camera club classes 2007-2008 are in the computer lab for viewing. Classes are $3.00 per class or 4 classes for $10.00. He talked about "Vista"; there are 2 "Vistas". He also had a question and answer period.
Dick Harris had a question and answer period also. Dick talked about Verizon wirless for internet, Verizon is 2 different companies.
Meeting ended at 2:45.

Dick announced the Microsoft Word last class for this time , tomorrow Thursday Dec. 6th.
Ky introduced our speakers from SOS (Serving On line Seniors). Patrict and Claudette Davis. (You can find their web site at http://www.servingonlineseniors.com). They are located at 7435 E Main Street, Suite 106. He talked about Vista and answered questions from the floor. Avg is good for viris's and it is free. Also talked about Spyware and maintenance on your computer.
After presentation, Dick Harris answered question that people put in box. Meeting closed 2:45.

Kay announced our Speakers for the day at 1:30 pm - "Smart Computing" today by Lindsay Albers and Lea Houchin from Lincoln, Nebraska.
Lindsay talked about the articles in each magazine "Cover Story, Reviews on Hardware and Software, Window Tips and Tricks, Quick Study Section." The articles are marked "Green for Beginners, Blue for Intermediates, and Red for Advanced.
You get Plugged In and Tech Support for buying a years subscription to Smart Computing ( you receive a full year of Tech Support.) She gave out 3 prizes, a years subscription, T shirt, and magazine holder, plus 2 more 1 year subscriptions to Smart Computer.
Kay announced Gene Barlow's "back up disc".
President Dick Harris announced to renew your membership and the computer classes.
John Schumacher announced class changes Be sure and check the board in the computer lab. Next week will be a talk on how to protect your router.
Dick Harris answered questions from the floor.

Meeting called to order by President Dick Harris at 1:30 pm.
Kay announced that "Ink Refills" would be our speaker on Feb. 6th.
John Schumacher talked about the new classes coming up and some changes made, helpers handed out the new schedules for the new classes. John gave a talk on routers, and securing your router so no one can use your router for their hook up.
Someone asked about a Video Class and we will think about a Video class next year in the Camera Club.
There was a question and answer period by Pres. Dick Harris. Meeting adjourned at 2:50 pm.

Meeting called to order by Dick Harris, President at 1:30 pm.
Donna Melnechuk had 2 announcements. Joyce McColl went back home for surgery and she is doing well. There's a get well card to sign in the back.
The Banquet will be held Feb. 22 at North Point Multi Purpose room. Tickets will be available for the next 2 weeks. We can only sell 110 tickets this year. The price is $7.50 each. Information will be on the tickets.

The club had a speaker Kathy Jacobs, who is a computer Geek and proud of it. Her program was about "One Note" a Microsoft software program that helps people organize their notes and thing to do. Very informational.

Meeting called to order by President Dick Harris at 1:30 pm.
John Schumacher gave a presentation on Microsoft Office 2007. He also announced that the General Manager will bring in people from Tengo to discuss issues, every Tues. and Thurs. 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
Kay announced that we will have a speaker on March 12th, "Dave Wittle". The speaker next week will be Dick Harris, President.
Hugh announced that the banquet is full for Friday at North Point. Meeting adjourned at 2:30 pm.

Ron Brown showed the group a couple of things that can be done with a spreadsheet program. The sheets he used can be downloaded if you want to see the information and/or use it.

Kay announced speaker from AZACC Dave Whittle. He gave out handouts. He talked how easy to make your own movies on DVD/CD by MuVee. Tickets were handed out for a prize.
We will have a speaker next week - Lyn Madaghiele on Greeting Cards.

Guest speaker was Lyn Madaghiele for Sent Out Cards.
Nancy Edwards demonstrated the use of the computer site www.Sendoutcards.com She showed how to send a card that you can put your personal message on and your signature. After you fill out the address of the person you are sending to and your address, the company prints your card, puts it in a envelops with a stamp and sends the card out for you on the date you tell it to. Meeting called to order at 1:30 PM by President Bob King.
Dick Harris was given a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift certificate fro P.F. Chang. Also the Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer were given a Certificate of Appreciation. Our treasure report was given by Skip Trapp, Balance $1108.50.
The President asked for any suggestions for next years meetings and you can email him during the summer.
John Schumacher was given a Certificate of Appreciation and gift certificate. John also gave a report: We had 30 different classes this year, 11 instructions and assisstants, 265 students. John and Kay talked about Tengo.
Milt Stark brought some sweet goodies to the meeting. Joe asked to give a report on the difference between Vista and XP for next year.
